Varese is one of the most beautiful provinces in Italy. Seen from above it looks like a green handkerchief with light blue spots: the matching colours of the LAKES and the woods, an unusual sight, particularly in spring, when the light green of the first buds contrasts with the white of the snow. Or better still in autumn, when leaves change their shade to warm tones and the lakes soften their vibrant colours.
Its a land of water thanks to its many lakes and RIVERS. Its perfect geographic position at the outlet of alpine VALLEYS and between the two important routes of Sempione and Gottard, has undoubtedly influenced the social evolution of the people who have lived here, generation after generation.

If it seems really hard to find a nice and cheap place to stay near to Malpensa airport why don't you look for it nearby?
Varese and its lakes are located just a few kms from the airport and they offer cheap attractions and accomodations in a wonderful natural environment. The disadvantages are related to the fact that in order to travel it would be better to have a car. But if you love nature and silence there is a very nice b&b called Villa Monterosa where you can find a cheap and friendly accomodation and be close to Malpensa.
It has two spacious, clean and newly refurbished double rooms. They are both very comfortable and they have a private bathroom. The owners are a warm and friendly italian family. The breakfast is made by hot drinks (tea, italian coffee and milk...) and fruit juice.
You can get directly into your own room with your own key and you can use a private parking inside the house (for guests only). The rooms are cleaned daily.
During summer you can use a solarium and a swimming pool in the garden.
The prices are from a min of 25 to a max 50 euros per person per night.
If you are a family and you book both the rooms we can allow you to use the big kitchen and the porch outside the house. You can have an entire flat for you and your kids to spend a lovely holiday in the north of Italy. We can host a max of 8 people.
